All the Beauty of the world

Trend setting scents that embody all the skills of the Italian tradition; an industry that is growing and where promo events are on the increase; new tools for competing in an international context that doesn’t allow a moment’s distraction... Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna and the Accademia del Profumo Award allow a closer look as to how a segment evermore aware of its own potential is moving.

The Italian beauty industry is again on the up, having achieved more than encouraging figures. First of all in economic terms, where last year it totalled a turnover of 8,485 million euro (4.7%) driven by exports at +15% (around 2,350 million euro) which generated a trade surplus of more than 690 million euro.
But it is not only a question of turnover. The industry is also  moving proactively regarding excellence of product, communication and promotion ... But let’s start out in an orderly fashion.
As regards quality, we aboveall reiterate that Unipro has enhanced and expanded its website www.abc-cosmetici.it with a new science section dedicated to the world of research and innovation on cosmetics, edited by Profess.ssa Carla Scesa (professor of Cosmetology at the University of Siena). The section contains an overview of studies and scientific publications dedicated to advances in cosmetic research and new the scientific and technical ideas behind the same.

An appointment with innovation

Like all Oriex events, Aerosol Forum is held at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris. This “portable” and highly specialized show/conference features a full program of conferences and the latest technologies of forty producers of aerosols and other dispenser systems (just to mention a few names: Amcor Flexibles, Aptar Groupe, Boxal, Coster, Inventec, Leading Edge Labels, Lindal, Simsek Ambalaj…).
According to the pre-registration data, around 900 operators are expected to attend, hailing from about 30 countries, including representatives of major concerns in the food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and chemical sectors, who have attended Aerosol Forum since its beginning with outspoken satisfaction.

Food: promoting the industry

The 2011 edition of Tuttofood (Fiera Milano) will include an area dedicated to processing and packaging technologies for food safety, organized and promoted by Ipack-Ima with the banner Safe Food Tech. A look at Expo 2015, an occasion for global promotion of the value of the excellence of an entire sector.

Tuttofood (international showcase organized by Fiera Milano, scheduled for May 8th-11th) becomes an “industry fair”, also thanks to the strategic participation of processing and packaging operators. Coordinated by Ipack Ima, they will come together in the area called Safe Food Tech, which will host technologies for a safe food industry, addressing topics of hygiene and quality control, “zero risk” productions, active & intelligent packaging, identification and services… A kind of “dress rehearsal” for 2015, when the world Expo hosted by the city of Milan and dedicated to the major topic of food, when Ipack-Ima and Tuttofood will be held simultaneously.
